US Airways is trying to find new ways to make up for higher fuel prices and less travelers. Like all companies they are adding new charges, and cutting back on some amenities.

US Airways may be taking it a bit too far, however. They’re going so far as to charge for water. Currently its bottled water, and sodas are no longer free either…but you’d think as much as a ticket costs these days you’d be able to get at least ONE bottle of water without having to whip out a credit card.

It’s little nickel and dime stuff like this that makes flying so damn frustrating sometimes. Is it really necessary to grab this extra buck a customer? It’s this kind of little stuff that really drives people crazy…and I don’t know about you – but if prices are similar, I’ll be buying a ticket on an airline that doesn’t mind handing me a Coke.
