This railway bridge connects Haparanda Sweden to Tornio Finland, and it is the only direct crossing point between the Swedish and Finnish railways.

Apparently it is very complicated for the two countries railway systems to cross over because they each have different track gauges.

What this image shows us, though, is the beautiful countryside of the two countries. If you’re looking for a different sort of vacation, a tour of the Swedish and Finnish country sides might be just the ticket.
