Orbitz.com has ranked the Top 10 Busiest Airports for Thanksgiving Travel 2008. This list is based on their own bookings. I’m actually surprised that Las Vegas has ranked #1 – it seems like some people are choosing to get away from their families this holiday season, instead of going home for the holiday.
* Las Vegas, NV – Las Vegas McCarran International (LAS)
* New York, NY – La Guardia Airport (LGA)
* Chicago, IL – Chicago O’Hare (ORD)
* Los Angeles, CA – Los Angeles International Airport (LAX)
* San Francisco, CA – San Francisco International Airport (SFO)
Dallas, TX – Dallas/Fort Worth International (DFW)
Newark, NJ – New York Newark International Airport (EWR)
Miami, FL – Miami International Airport (MIA)
Denver, CO – Denver International Airport (DEN)
* Seattle, WA – Seattle-Tacoma International Airport (SEA)

Given how hectic airports can be at this time of year, it can be a challenge trying to determine the best places to eat. PlanetEye is hoping to make it easier for travelers with an insightful guide (newsletter.planeteye.com/airports) featuring the best restaurants at more than 40 airports around the world.
