Not everyone wants to slave over a hot stove on Thanksgiving day. If you’re one of those people that would rather go out – but still want to do something special – you might want to conisder a harbor cruise if you’re in the New York area.

Bateaux New York is an elegant looking boat with a glass ceiling and walls to match, and they’re running a Thanksgiving day lunch from 2 to 4 p.m. according to newsday. They’ll also be offering a dinner cruise from 7:30 to 10:30 p.m.

The cruise will serve free range turkey with cornbread stuffing and a backdrop of live piano music and views of the Manhattan skyline. Prices start at just $54.31 a person for the afternoon cruises, and $108.90 for the evening voyage…which is not a bad price at all considering the average cost of a Thanksgiving meal.
