According to Air Transport Association of America, Thanksgiving holiday air travel is expected to be down at least 4% from last year’s travel.

“It is increasingly apparent that economic headwinds facing the airlines and their customers are anything but behind us. The recent announcement that U.S. unemployment surpassed 10 percent highlights one of the key factors impacting consumer buying decisions,” CEO James May stated.
