South Padre Island is a resort town in Cameron County Texas, and a very popular Spring Break location. During the summer the island remains a popular location, primarily because of its beautiful blue water.

Unlike Galveston island in Texas, which has a murky brown coast line, the cool, beautiful waters of South Padre provide a serene experience for families or couples looking for a nice getaway.
