If you’re looking for an island getaway that you can call your own, and you have GBP £2,500,000 to spare, then Little Cumbrae Island just might be the place for you.
There are two cottages on the island as well as a light house, and traditional boathouse and slipway.
The island itself has a history dating all the way back to the Bronze Age. It’s truly a unique and remarkable piece of the world, and you can learn more about it by clicking right here.

You are not doing the Island of Little Cambrae justice. You are only describing the cottages by the current lighthouse. The main house on the East side of the Island has twelve bedrooms, a formal garden, greenhouse and stables. It stands just opposite an eleventh century castle.
The Island has the remains of an older lighthouse (from 1782) on it’s highest point. It has a couple of caves. There is the ruins of a chapel and it’s graveyard dedicated to St. Dey’s, several locks well stocked with fish, many rabbits, grouse and seals.
