The Houston Chronicle has an interesting report from a recent travel guide’s list of the best places in the world to be entombed. On it’s list are obvious places like the Taj Mahal and the Great Pyramids. One place, however, sticks out a bit more than the others.

It’s a pet cemetery located in Hartsdale, a suburb of New York City. The guide claims that the headstones in the cemetery are fascinating to read. Some say thing like “Sport: Born a dog, died a gentleman.”

There are over 70,000 creatures laid to rest at the 112 year old pet cemetery, and a few humans as well. It is located 20 miles north of New York City.
