airbusnyjfk-02Wow.  New York’s JFK Airport is closing down its busiest runway for a whopping four months.

From March to July 2010 the runway will be closed for a revamp which will include asphalt pavement being replaced and widened.  More than 35,000 takeoffs and landings will have to be moved to other runways in the airport.

Might wanna rethink that outta NY flight…
