A vacation is only as good as the hotel you stay at. That may sound crazy…if you’ve never actually gone on vacation. Really, the place you call “home” while you’re away from home is essential to your overall enjoyment of your time off.

If you’re ever in San Francisco there are a variety of fantastic choices, but my personal favorite is the Pickwick Hotel. The place is the embodiment of classic San Francisco, and you can feel the history of the place as you walk in the door. It is centrally located downtown within walking distance of great shops, museums, the subway, and more.

It also features a fantastic restaurant called “The Pickwick Café” that’s available for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
