October is, of course, the month for scares, so I’ve been looking at all kinds of “haunted travel” – and this may be one of the most haunted places on earth. In fact, according to Forbes – it is.

Castle Leslie has been owned by the Leslie family for over 300 years. According to reports, many relatives have never left the grounds of the castle. There’s even a ghostly dog named Punch.

If you’re up for it ask for “The Red Room”. This room is rumored to be haunted by Norman Leslie who was killed during the first world war. Mr. Leslie has told multiple couples to “shhh…” after appearing as a gray figure of a man.
