Marriott is taking in-room entertainment to a whole new level with their “Wii and you” packages. In select hotels you can add the “Wii and you” package for between $20 and $50 a night. This package will include a Nintendo Wii with 20 built in games for you and your roomates to enjoy.

This Wii has been specifically created for public markets by Nintendo, and does not require game disk (there is no word on if you can use your own game disks, though). You simply select the games from the Wii menu and you can play for as long as you like.

When you consider that some gaming in hotel rooms (which were previously Nintendo 64 units in many cases) could cost as much as $9.95 an hour – the $20 to $50 all you can play add-on seems like a bargain. Imagine what a distraction the Wii could be for the kids while you and your spouse spend a few minutes actually talking to one another.
