100118_american_air_bag_feesLast week Delta and Continental Airlines announced that they would be raising their checked baggage fees and it looks like American Airlines is following suit this week.

Starting February 1, the first checked bag with American will be $25, now leaving Southwest as the only airline out there that’s not charging for checked baggage.  Your first bag with Delta is now $25, up from just $15.
