The UK’s Travel Weekly reports that a surcharge of £6.25 (that’s $12.23 US) per passenger per day is going to be applied to all new Cyrstal Cruise bookings made after June 23rd, 2008.
The cruise line sites the staggering rise if oil prices as the reason for the surcharge. They join Norwegian Cruise Line, Carnival UK, and a variety of other cruise lines around the world that have been forced to add per day fuel charges due to the amazingly high price of oil.
