There is a growing controversy throughout the world about the 2008 Olympics which take place in Beijing China this August. Many outlets are encouraging a boycott of the event due to China’s recent crackdown on violent protests in Tibet.
It is not clear yet how much of an effect these boycott demands will affect the opening ceremonies of the Olympics, but it is a controversy that is not likely to fade away anytime soon.
The question I have for you is - does something like this affect your desire to travel to the Olympics? If you already have plans to go, would something like this cause you to cancel your trip?
I think if I was planning a trip the Olympics, I would wait for London.
